I went a little overboard on Mikey's cake this year. It's an Extreme Sports cake with all the sports he loves, snowboarding, bike riding, skateboarding and boogie boarding. Even though it's a little busier than I planned, Mikey can't stay away from it. He's been looking at it from all angles and asking his usual billion questions.
Now it's off to Toys R Us for his birthday crown and balloon, then his traditional family dinner at Chevy's. Tomorrow, though, is the big day when he gets to celebrate his big day with friends, a first ever for him.

Awesome cake! Happy Birthday Big Guy! Sorry we're missing the fun. Peyton's actually got a bug of some sort now, so he's home from school. Mikey - have a blast jumpin around dude! Tell your Mom to catch some arial jumps on camera! We KNOW you can do it.
