Happy Holidays!!

Like my friends Tiffany & Eryn, I truly do have a good reason for not blogging much lately. No, we didn't expand our family by one more (their excuses are better than mine!) - we sold our house and it will close on December 28th. We put it up for sale right before Thanksgiving thinking we'd get action after the new year but it sold in less than 2 weeks. Crazy, huh? Here's what's crazier: we have no place to go. We've found nothing we like and the thought of moving into a rental has me paralyzed. We've made no plans for our pets, we have no boxes and our vast storage areas are still packed to the hilt. Needless to say, it's been an usual holiday this year.

We HAVE been having fun, though. My brother and his family visiting from Japan has been the big event. And Mikey got a pre-Christmas "puppy" (older dog that was supposed to be house trained*) a few weeks ago. He named her Cutie and he won't go anywhere without her. She even sleeps with him.

* Do not use the chowsplus.org rescue. Very very VERY unpleasant experience.

We've been spending a lot of time in Tahoe and, luck upon luck, tropical Jaden LOVES the snow.

And in the true holiday spirit, my girl is still shakin' her thang, only this time it's in her long johns.
